How are PTO Funds Used?

The DCC PTO receives monies from fundraisers, services, and donations throughout the school year. These funds are used for a variety of purposes, including teacher grants, staff appreciation meals, playground and science-based inquiry equipment, services (for example, student directory printing costs), and other activities to enhance the educational experience of our students.
All funds go directly to the school. No funds are used for administrative costs.
Make a Direct Donation
If you would like to contribute funds to the DCC PTO, your donation can be mailed in as a payment to DCC PTO -- never to a specific teacher or person if the intent is for the PTO. If you would like to contribute funds to a specific PTO event (for example, Welcome Staff Meal), then please write your intent in the memo of the check.
Monthly Financial Reports
The DCC PTO budget is created by volunteers with the best interests of students and teachers and DCC in mind. Our budget and financial activity are reported each month. Additionally, an audit committee will review the PTO financial reports. Parents are welcome to attend the general meetings and get answers to any questions about what our fund balance is and where the money has been allocated, or you may contact the DCC PTO Treasurer at
